Ed Humphries

Ed made his Pasture Prime Players debut with the staging of his original play Lost and Found, which had it's world premier on the Pasture Prime stage in 2015 and was restaged in the spring of 2019. In this production, he showed his multi-tasking skills having written, co-produced, directed, did sound and set design and served as co-properties master while taking on the role of Chip Chandliss.

Ed rediscovered the stage when an evening out to the theater led to a spur-of-the-moment audition for the Gateway Players' production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Since then, he has performed in several local productions and it’s through these experiences that he began giving serious thought to jotting down the story ideas he found pinballing through his head with greater frequency. A writer by hobby (sadly not by trade), Lost and Found is the third original play written by Ed that has been produced locally. His first, The Monkeybar Mafia was staged by Gateway in the Fall of 2012 and his second show, The Lost World has been performed several times since 2013.
