Pamela LaRue

Pam has appeared in the roles of The Maid in Out of Order and Edie Boggs in Too Soon For Daisies. Skilled in the art of mimicry, Pam has performed in countless local productions which highlighted her varied talents. She trained with former University of Carolina drama professors Greg Morell and Tarleton Reynolds and erved as their assistant. She was Artist in Residence with Peter Abbott’s Touring Mime Circus in the late 1980’s. Miss LaRue also studied with drama instructor Carole Hayes and was her set consultant for the Bradley Theatre production of The Miracle Worker.She has also worked as period consultant and wardrobe coordinator for many Gateway Player’s Productions. For over 15 years she was a voice-over artist and radio announcer for WESO-AM, WQVR-FM and WARE-AM. Of her many performing roles, her favorite accomplishments were that of Viney in The Miracle Worker, Lady Caroline Pontifract in A Woman of No Importance and Edith in Blythe Spirit.
