Jim Douglas
Jim's most recent role with Pasture Prime was Dr. John Hunter in "Too Soon For Daisies".
His first appearance with the Pasture Prime Players was in Sir Alan Ayckbourn's "Confusions,"
where he played a trifecta of roles: Pearce in "Between Mouthfuls," Gosforth in "Gosforth's Fete" and Charles in "A Talk in the Park."
Special thanks and appreciation to the cast and directors here. He has appeared in numerous productions
at Stageloft Theater (Sturbridge) and Gateway Players (Southbridge). Favorite roles include Grandpa
in You Can’t Take it With You, Mr. Big (Get Smart) Dr. Baugh (Cat on A Hot Tin Roof), Pike (Enter Laughing),
and Garr Comm (The Elephant Man) and Rev. Wooley (Leading Ladies). Jim’s day job is Director of
the Library at Nichols College (Dudley, MA). He would like to thank his wife for laughing in all the
right places and especially the real actor in the family, his daughter Caitlin, for her advice and support.
