Live theater is incredible. You dig deep down inside yourself to discover other beings,
other parts of yourself. Some 35 years ago I was Muriel Tate in Gateway Players’ very first
production, Plaza Suite. Now I got to play Aunt Queenie in Pasture Prime Players first production,
"Bell, Book and Candle". I’ve sung, danced and acted in a number of diverse roles, including Electra
in Gypsy, Cookie in Rumors, Julia in Lend Me a Tenor and my most recent role as Elgin in
Stageloft’s The Spider’s Web. I want to thank my daughter Julie, who reads lines with me and
helps me to develop my character, and Betty White- What a great role model!! |
